SOURCE REGION
WEST NEPAL
Earthlete's Nepalese Gold Shilajit is wild-harvested at extreme altitude within a remote Himalayan bioregion of West Nepal.
This region is defined by:
- Sustained elevation above 16,000 ft
- Minimal human interference
- High mineral density geology
- Preserved alpine ecosystems
These conditions are not common across the Himalayas. They are specific, rare, and difficult to access.
It's also home to a small number of multi-generational harvesting families whose knowledge of seasonal collection has been passed down.
There's no existing logistics infrastructure in this region. The terrain, altitude, and access prevent the formation of conventional supply chains, making bulk extraction or commodity trade impossible.
DISCOVERY
SELECTION CRITERIA
This region was evaluated directly by Earthlete through on-ground expeditions specifically to locate the highest purity shilajit available on the planet.
It was selected not for convenience, but because its environmental conditions, harvesting practices, and isolation met a standard all other regions cannot.
WILD HARVESTING
HAND COLLECTED
The resin is gathered by hand during a brief seasonal window each year. A rare interval when the mountain softens under the sun.
Harvesting follows non-industrial tradition:
• No excavation.
• No mechanical extraction.
• No forced processing.
• Only naturally expressed resin is collected.
CONTROLLED SUPPLY CHAIN
CLOSED-LOOP LOGISTICS
Earthlete operates a direct, closed-loop supply chain.
No brokers, wholesalers, or downstream resellers involved at any stage. The resin moves from harvest to purification to final packaging under continuous oversight, without dilution, substitution, or third-party handling.
This structure intentionally limits scalability.
PURIFICATION
SOLAR-DRYING
Raw shilajit undergoes a 60–90 day low-heat, solar-assisted purification process.
No fire drying, chemical solvents, or high-temperature shortcuts are used.
This preserves fulvic acid content, trace minerals, and heat-sensitive compounds commonly degraded in industrial processing.
WHY EXACT LOCATIONS AREN'T DISCLOSED
ECOLOGICAL INTEGRITY
Specific harvest sites are not publicly identified.
This protects the ecological integrity of the region, the livelihoods of harvesting families, and the long-term viability of the supply.
This is responsible sourcing, not secrecy.
WHAT IS VERIFIABLE
EVERYTHING WITH INTENT.
Region: Remote West Nepal Himalayan range
Harvesting: Wild, hand-collected
Access: Expedition-based, seasonal
Knowledge Base: Multi-generational harvesting families
Supply Chain: Direct, controlled, uninterrupted
This approach is slow, costly, and difficult to replicate.
That is precisely why it was chosen.
