Back to back camps. My body was in constant pain. My mind was running on empty. And no matter how hard I trained or how disciplined I stayed...

Like most people, I tried to fix it with supplements. Pre-workouts. Powdered greens. Recovery blends. Multivitamins.
But here's the thing. none of it really worked.
Most of it was heavily processed, pumped with artificial flavours, and impossible to tell what was actually doing anything.
I was spending money on promises printed on labels.
Until I was introduced to shilajit.
Natures most powerful elixir.
Within a week I felt real energy, clearer thinking, faster recovery. Not a caffeine spike. A deep, lasting shift that only got stronger with time.

So we went to the source.
The Industry problem
The more I looked into the shilajit market, the more I realised how broken it was.
Brands were buying cheap, synthetic resins from unverified downstream suppliers and slapping premium labels on them.
Third-party handling at every stage meant the product could be diluted, substituted, and degraded before it ever reached the customer.
Most people taking shilajit weren't actually getting real shilajit. And they had no way of knowing.
That didn't sit right with us.
What if the answer wasn’t another formulation, but a return to source?
So We Built Something Different
We didn't partner with a supplier. We didn't white-label someone else's product. We went to the source — the high-altitude Himalayan regions where the most potent shilajit on earth is found — and built a direct relationship with local harvesting communities.
From there, we created our own framework from scratch. Our own purification standards. Our own end-to-end supply chain with zero third-party handling. No middlemen. No bad actors. No compromises at any stage.
This was about finding the purest form of what already existed, understanding why it worked, and protecting its integrity long enough to bring it back - without compromise.

TURNING CURIOSITY INTO A MISSION
Once the seed was planted, walking away wasn't an option. Jarrod needed to understand where the most potent, purest form of shilajit on earth could be found, and why most of what's on the market falls so short.
What followed was months of research. Tracing shilajit across regions, elevations, climates, and sourcing histories. Testing claims. Questioning suppliers. Pulling apart supply chains that didn't add up.
A clear pattern emerged — the further shilajit travelled from its origin, the weaker and more compromised it became. The most mineral-rich, bioactive forms came from places that were harder to reach, harder to harvest, and impossible to mass-produce.
Every trail led to the same place. Remote West Nepal. Deep within the high-altitude Himalayan ranges. Limited access. Harsh conditions. Short harvesting windows that open only once a year. Still collected by hand by local families who have worked with this material for generations.
This wasn't a coincidence. It was confirmation. Region matters. Altitude matters. And how shilajit is sourced and handled from the moment it leaves the rock determines whether it works — or doesn't.
NO PLAN. JUST PURPOSE.
No roadmap. No supplier waiting at the airport. No guided tour of a facility. Just a booked flight and a decision to go and see it firsthand.
Jarrod didn't want another pitch from another middleman. He wanted to understand what shilajit looks like at the source, before it's traded, handled, repackaged, and sold through a chain of people who never touched the rock it came from.
The only way to know what's real was to go where it starts.
WHAT THE MOUNTAINS TAUGHT
Being there answered a lot of questions quickly. The terrain was extreme. Access was difficult. Harvesting was seasonal and done by hand.
Everything about the process took time, and nothing could be rushed without affecting the purity.
It became obvious why all existing shilajit on the market never even resembled the substance that first sparked his curiosity. This much handling and shortcuts changes it.
WHAT MADE IT BACK
Most material never made it back. A lot is discarded. Some lost its integrity through handling alone.
What mattered wasn’t the volume of product. It was whether the substance still behaved the way it's intended.
What did make it back was a dense, intact resin. Untouched by aggressive processing, and still carrying the potency of where it formed.
That became Volume I: Prima Materia.
WHY PRIMA MATERIA
This was the starting point.
Not because it was the easiest substance to bring to market, but because it demanded the most care.
Prima Materia is a Latin term, used historically to describe the original matter from which all things are formed.
The first substance. The primordial base material from which all is made.
That idea is exactly what this Volume represents.
